After a long long wait, Britons can now say goodbye to those lengthy iPhone contracts. Apple UK has just launched the pay as you go iPhone 3G starting with 8GB for £342.50 and 16GB for £391.45. But you won’t be able to use other network’s sim card, you have to use O2’s PAYG service in order to activate the iPhone.



Nokia finally unveils the N97 flagship phone

Not so long from launching the 5800 ExpressMusic, Nokia is at it again with another touchscreen phone but this time a very promising phone that can possibly take a bite out of Apple’s hold on the touchscreen smartphone market. The N97 – equipped with S60 5th Edition OS – features a large touchscreen with a kick-out full QWERTY keyboard, hidden behind a 3.5-inch widescreen 16:9 touch display that tilts smartly above the keys.

Nikon has gone official with the top-end D3X DSLR. This wallet melting bad boy sports an eye-pleasing 24.5-megapixel CMOS FX format sensor, full resolution shooting at 5 FPS, ISO from 100-1600 (expandable to 50-6400), TIFF, JPEG or NEF (RAW) file formats up to 138MB, and a newly updated EXPEED image processing system.
