Blackberry 9500 – Another iPhone Killer …

Since iPhone 3G will be out this friday, the rumor of yet another iphone killer is heating up – this time courtesy of RIM’s Blackberry Thunder. The Blackberry Thunder now officially named the Blackberry 9500 is the best kept-known secret from RIM since early this year. There’s not much official info about this device at the moment but as believed by many rumors in the past, it will be launched on verizon in U.S and Vodafone in Europe as a lifetime exclusive. BlackBerry 9500 is believed to have a CDMA/EV-DO version for North America and a GSM/HSDPA one for Europe, Asia and the rest of the markets.The resolution for the touchscreen will be 360×480 which is better than iPhone. Other features includes Blackberry OS 4.7, internal GPS, a powerful processor, internal memory of at least 1GB, advanced Web browsing capabilities, a good photo camera and so on. Many gadget freaks believe that this touchscreen device will take a bite out of Apple’s hold on the touchscreen smartphone market. So watch out Apple.
