On board is a high-resolution touchscreen and just about every codec we’ll ever need - plus available plug-ins to cover the rest. Sony’s newest additions to the Cyber-shot™ T Series were announced last week - the T77 and T700 digital cameras.
Touted as the world’s slimmest camera, the DSC-T77 measures just 15mm thin (13.9mm at the thinnest point). It comes with a 10Mpix 1/2.3’’ CCD sensor, a 4x zoom Carl Zeiss lens, 3″ LCD touchscreen, ISO sensitivity up to 3200, 15MB of memory. It also features intelligent scene recognition, Smile Shutter, and face detection with ‘Anti-blink’ technology that cuts the risk of closed eyes spoiling portraits of friends and family. It also comes in different colors such as Brown, Green, Pink, Black, and Silver.
The Cyber-shot T700 on the other hand, features almost same specifications but comes with 4GB of internal memory and a 3.5-inch Xtra Fine touchscreen. It is also available in silver, gray and pink color options.
Both items are available to pre-order and ship at the end of August for about £248 and £299 respectively.

While it’s not quite the iPhone 2.1 firmware that we are patiently waiting for, iPhone 2.0.1 firmware update is now live since yesterday and it will fixed the problems introduced by 2.0 such as crashing apps, interminable keyboard delays, choppy scrolling, etc.
We’ve installed almost 250MB update data on our iPhone 3G and so far its good. Those applications that usually made our iPhone crashes from time to time are all good - it actually works. We also noticed a stable and much improved keyboard response.
